Viburnum plicatum ‘Kilimanjaro’ is a beautiful early summer flowering small conical tree or large shrub, which has almost year round interest. In late spring and early summer the tree is covered with white lacecup like flowers, which appear on tiered branches almost like a wedding cake. These flowers give way to pink-red summer berries which turn black in autumn, providing a feast for the birds. The deeply veined leaves turn red-purple in autumn. ‘Kilimanjaro’ produces a more upright tree like habit than most Viburnums. Ideal for small gardens and won the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year in 2015.
