Lime is a deciduous tree and has lush green rounded/oval foliage which has a serrated edge and lighter yellow green on the underside, this variety comes into leaf slightly earlier than other Limes giving a longer season of interest. Clusters of sweetly scented pale green flowers appear in summer followed by pea sized fruits; the foliage turns to rich hues of buttery yellow before falling in autumn when the reddish young twigs become more conspicuous.
