Whitebeam. An upright tree with silvery grey leaves, later grey-green. Clusters of white flowers in late spring are followed by dark red berries. Max Height 10m. Max Spread 8m. Flowers April to May. Fruits June. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
