Malus domestica Apple – Native Irish Apple Kemp

£42

An Irish heritage dual apple, recorded in Co. Derry at the beginning of the 19th century, and once widely grown and appreciated in Northern Ireland. Also known as May Bloom. The fruit is medium-sized and round, with one side slightly flattened, yellow-green with an orange-red blush on one side; the flesh is crisp, white, juicy, sweet and well flavoured. Reliable, healthy tree, resistant to scab, and with lovely pink blossom. Good pollinator.
