The business has been established since 1998 and during that time we have evolved from just providing landscaping services to establishing a  Nursery in the picturesque setting of Gransha Road at the crossroad with Gilnahirk Road.

The Nursery attracts homeowners, farmers, landscapers, developers, golf courses and Parks Departments.

At the Nursery we can provide advice on the most suitable plants for your garden. We can arrange hedge, tree and shrub and planting schemes, including supplying and planting if required.

Many of the plants at the Nursery have been grown on site and we can offer these at great prices with even better discounts for larger numbers. Please Contact Stephen to enquire.

Plants grown on site include fruit trees and bushes, shrubs, trees and hedging plants.

We also have a selection of mature hedging for an instant screen or boundary hedge.

Woodcroft also has a grounds maintenance team that provides a complete gardening service including grass and hedge cutting, weed control, planting, seeding and turfing lawns, drainage, fencing and much more.

We would be happy to quote for any of your gardening needs. We look forward to working with you.

The brief from the client was to redesign the garden to maximise the area available and make it a useable space. They were keen to be able to entertain and enjoy the garden all year round.

The first phase was to clear the site by pruning the current shrubbery and trees and trying to incorporate into the design what was there originally. Then we installed the edging for the shrub beds and wheelbarrowed in 40 tonne of soil due to restricted access. This was used to raise up the lawn and provide soil for the flower beds and vegetable patch. The edging for the path in the woodland area was created from logs already on the site.

The pictures below show the transformation with planting and lawn turf used to create the overall effect.

The brief from the client was to install drains in his lawn to remove a wet patch. The drains were dug by hand due to limited access for a digger. To remove the soil a trailer was placed beside the wall to allow easy access for a power-barrow.

The client wanted two areas of grass cut to make it a use able space. The grass was cut using a sickle bar on a two wheel tractor. The grass was then raked up using a belt hay rake and lifted using a buckrake on a compact tractor.

The client wanted their garden to be refurbished to make it a nicer, more useable and private space. The first step was to dig holes in the back garden to plant large, mature London Planes which were staked underground to hide the posts.

The next step was to use a mini digger to level the soil then sand was brought in and levelled to place the turf on in the back garden. The front garden was levelled and raked out then seeded.
